Citizens who own a vehicle in the Telangana state is applicable to pay road tax. The state has extensive network of roadways and connecting different parts of the country. Calculate Road Tax in Telangana
To calculate Telangana road tax there are various factors which includes age of vehicle, make and manufacture, fuel type, length and width of the vehicle, engine capacity, purpose of the vehicle, place of manufacture etc. Other than this, a seating capacity, number of wheels are also used to calculate Telangana road tax.
Taxation on Two-wheelers
The road tax for two-wheeler is based on the age and engine of the vehicle

How to Pay Road Tax in Telangana?
Vehicle owners have to visit to the nearest Regional Transport Office (RTO). There they have to fill the form and pay the tax applicable as per their category of the vehicle. Once they did the payment, the RTO will render the acknowledgement receipt. The owner should keep the receipt safe for the future references.
Road Tax Penalty in Telangana
If an owner fails to pay the Vahan tax in Telangana, then the authorities will impose a penalty which will be double to the road tax amount.
